Hell’s Kitchen

My Role: Video Editor

CenterStage Academy for the Arts produced a show entitled Broadway in Black, highlighting various Broadway productions, including Hell’s Kitchen, Alicia Keys’ hit musical. One featured number was “The Gospel.”

For this video, my goal was to edit footage from three different cameras to capture the essence of the performance. I focused on highlighting wide group shots while also drawing the audience into the scene with carefully timed close-ups. Special attention was given to syncing the choreography with the music to enhance the overall impact of the piece.

Beauty Brand Reels

As the video editor for this project, my goal was to create a calm and relaxing vibe that really makes you feel the beauty of the product. I used soft transitions, close-up shots, and smooth music to show off the product’s texture. I wanted the video to feel something that not only looks good, but makes you want to try the product yourself.
